Zesty Enterprises is the new album from UK-based producer Brain Rays.

Mixing dancefloor intensity with experimental pop explorations, Brain Rays offers up 9 tracks of sexy, cinematic heat - taking influence from underground club culture and 80s electro pop acts like Vanity 6.

Jackin’ house beats slam out of dreamy nighttime skits, whilst moments of sublime beauty weave in and out of the low end hiss.

Many recognisable lockdown themes ricochet through the album; yearning for a night out, missing friends and lovers, feeling lonely and horny in isolation, trying to keep the party alive in your living room…as well as addressing more timeless topics/concerns such as the fragile male ego and perfectionism.

Zesty Enterprises features a host of Brain Rays’ friends and collaborators, including queer pop artist and songwriter GLYSK, silken voiced R&B/soul artist Theo Ogundipe, new kid on the block AstraBeneca and Bizarre Rituals affiliate, Parish News.

The release also features post-production and mastering by long-time friend and collaborator Quiet.
